The days of our imaginations, nights of dreams, moments of thoughts are edging closer towards the end. It’s now a reality and we are set to make this happen in a big way and we are glad that you will be a part of this great masterpiece. It’s not just a moment, but a landmark and we find our expressions in it. Ladies and Gents, it’s TEL HI’s Lunar New Year Celebration!
We are set to usher out the Year of the Rooster and welcome the Year of the Dog right here in San Francisco. We are Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center (TEL HI), one of San Francisco’s oldest nonprofit organizations and we believe in hosting events and gatherings that celebrate the culture and diversity of our community.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of the people in our community and we believe that our culture and community is something to be celebrated and proud of!
Our annual Lunar New Year Celebration is on a mission to embrace time honored traditions and festivities that are important to people in our neighborhoods as well as all over the world.
This year’s event will feature delicious food, including a traditional roast pig, a Lion Dance and entertainment by the award winning group Lion Dance Me, and also performances from our very own TEL HI’s preschool children, and more!
In adding to the beauty of this event, we encourage you to donate to this event. Be reassured that all proceeds raised from sponsorships will help support TEL HI’s Senior Program, which serves over 300 seniors a day by providing low-cost healthy hot lunches, computer and technology support, healthy aging classes, access to free or low cost excursions, and more!
