Day 54: 125 Days of TEL HI
November 13, 2014
A statue of three firefighters sits atop the northwest corner of Washington Square Park. This neighborhood landmark was erected at the bequest of Lillie Hitchcock Coit- a well-known patroness of San Francisco who upheld a fascination with firefighting as well as beautifying the Telegraph Hill community she loved growing up in.
125 Days of TEL HI is a photographic celebration of the people, places, and moments that make TEL HI special. During our 125th anniversary year, were posting a picture a day to honor the community we serve and cherish. Click here to view all 125 Days of TEL HI.
