TEL HI Brings Holiday Cheer with Annual Gift Giveaway

On Wednesday, December 18, TEL HI hosted its annual Holiday Gift Giveaway at North Beach Place, marking one of the most heartfelt events of the year. This tradition, now in its 8th year partnering with KT Prep, brought the spirit of the holidays to life for families across the community. Despite a challenging year for many, the giveaway served as a reminder of the power of compassion and community.
This year’s event featured over 500 toys, generously donated and distributed to children and families in need. The toys—ranging from books and board games to action figures and art supplies—were a lifeline for families facing financial hardships. For many parents, these gifts provided hope and joy during an otherwise difficult holiday season.
One parent’s simple question to a TEL HI staff member earlier this year captured the significance of the event: “Will there be a toy drive this year? I really need it so I can get toys for my two boys.”” This simple yet touching inquiry highlighted how much the Holiday Gift Giveaway means to the families TEL HI serves.
The partnership with KT Prep has been instrumental in the success of this annual event. For eight years, their unwavering support has helped TEL HI bring smiles to the faces of hundreds of children.
